Twenty-seven line-of-battle ships under the command of Admiral Lord Nelson decisively engaged and smashed a larger force of 33 French and Spanish ships under the command of France's Admiral de Villeneuve. It forever ended Napoleon's dream of an invasion of England and established the Royal Navy's near-monopoly on global sea-power for the next century. This game will be a decidedly lighter treatment of the battle using a modification of Kevin Dunn's 'Damn Monitors Again' tabletop naval rules. This at the same time that the city was awash with native rumours of a newly-discovered temple somewhere up the Nile containing some sort of magical jewel. So when the German tourists boarded a rented steamer late one night and disappeared, there was nothing for it but to send someone to keep a watchful eye on Chancellor Bismarck's boyos. Unfortunately, what with the increased Madhist activity of late, there weren't many soldiers available for nanny duty. Still, a small force has been dispatched upriver under the command of the intrepid explorer, Capt. Fitz-Percy, with orders to thwart the Teutonic treachery, whatever it may be.
